Eight North American teams will compete for $16,000 from July 16-17 this weekend in the online iBUYPOWER 2016 Summer Invitational.
iBUYPOWER have hosted a number of season-based Invitational tournaments since the beginning of last year, with the latest occurrence being Cloud9 winning the $16,000 2016 Spring Invitational back when Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir was on the team.
The upcoming iBUYPOWER 2016 Summer Invitational will also offer up $16,000 for two days of online CS:GO action, from July 16-17. This time around there will be eight teams competing via a best-of-three, single elimination bracket, with quarter-finals on the first day and semifinals and the grand final on the second day.

The tournament will be run through CEVO's platform and broadcast by CEVO-TV. The full list of teams competing this weekend is:
