FireGamers and wNv.cn had both been considered strong favourites to join fnatic in the knockout stage from Group B, and there was no shortage of excitement in their match as the home side bagged a 20-10 win.

This was the match that would eventually throw FireGamers out of the tournament as the Brazilian side fell behind fnatic in terms of round difference between the tied teams.
