Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut is now the player with the most career HLTV MVP awards after earning his 22nd medal at ESL Pro League Season 21, overtaking Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev's previous career record of 21 and his Big Event record of 14.
It is the Frenchman's second medal of the year after he dominated at IEM Katowice and furthers his bid to earn a record-breaking fourth Player of the Year award.

He had a stellar group stage (1.49 rating) and carried that through to playoffs (1.39) and grand final (1.28), with his candidacy for the award never truly in doubt despite Shahar "flameZ" Shushan also being excellent in playoffs (1.33).
