Apeks have added Dennis "dennis" Edman to their lineup for the short term, as he will fill in for Haakon "Radifaction" Tholo in the upcoming Elisa Invitational.
The Norwegian team announced the benching of Radifaction on Monday, citing unsatisfactory results over an eight-month period, and originally revealed that they would be fielding their coach Pål "Polly" Kammen as a stand-in until they find a long-term replacement. However, it has now been announced that dennis would be joining the squad for the upcoming competition.
The 29-year-old Swede had been a free agent since GamerLegion disbanded in March, and stated that he will be "just as good as before, if not better" when he gets a chance on a team.
The Elisa Invitational will feature squads such as GODSENT, ENCE, and North, and will take place online on April 30 - May 3. The two best teams from the eight-team competition will earn a spot at the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown.
